AgileAcoustics to Launch Agile Inclusive Estates at Education Estates 2026

AgileAcoustics will be exhibiting at Education Estates 2026 in Manchester on 20–21 October, where we’ll be launching our new Agile Inclusive Estates approach and introducing the Agile Inclusion Base.

Making existing school estates more inclusive

Schools and Local Authorities are under increasing pressure to provide appropriate spaces for SEND, inclusion, intervention and wellbeing — often within buildings that were never designed with these requirements in mind.

Creating that additional capacity doesn’t necessarily have to mean constructing new rooms or extending buildings.

Agile Inclusive Estates explores a different approach:


How can we make existing education spaces work harder, flex more easily and become more inclusive?

Our approach combines acoustic pods, movable spaces, modular room systems and adaptable SEND products to create new types of spaces within the estate schools already have.

Introducing the Agile Inclusion Base

At Education Estates, we’ll also be introducing our Agile Inclusion Base concept.

Rather than treating an Inclusion Base as a fixed architectural solution, we’re developing it as a flexible kit of parts.

Using products including AgilePOD, AgileSAFESPACE, SafeSpace Nest, AgileCLOUD and Modulise, layouts can be configured around the individual school, the available space and the needs of its pupils.

That could mean transforming part of a library, wide corridor, underused classroom, breakout area or other existing space into a more purposeful environment for SEND and inclusion.

And because the system is modular, the space can evolve as requirements change.

Rather than simply putting individual products on our stand, we wanted visitors to experience the thinking behind Agile Inclusive Estates.

So, Stand 312 itself will effectively become a small Agile Inclusion Base.

Visitors will be able to see:

  • SafeSpace Nest – our new nesting, adaptable space designed to support both intervention and individual regulation.

  • AgileSAFESPACE – creating a quieter, lower-stimulus space within a larger environment.

  • Modulise – our modular acoustic room and screening system, which will form part of the stand itself.

  • Our wider thinking around flexible and inclusive education estates, including ways spaces can be created, moved, adapted and reconfigured rather than permanently built.

We’ll also be sharing the latest developments in our Raise&Relocate technology, designed to make acoustic spaces considerably easier to reposition as estates and requirements evolve.

We want to collaborate

Importantly, we don't see the Agile Inclusion Base as a finished, fixed design.

The initial concepts are deliberately the start of the conversation.

We’d particularly like to speak with Local Authorities, MATs, schools, SEND and inclusion teams, estates professionals, architects and education designers about the challenges they are facing and how these ideas could develop further.
