Commitment to Achieving Net Zero

AgileAcoustics is committed to reducing the environmental impact of its operations and supply chain. As a UK designer, manufacturer and installer of acoustic pods, screens and workplace furniture solutions, we recognise our responsibility to contribute towards a lower-carbon future.

Our long-term objective is to achieve Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions across our operations and value chain by 2050 or sooner, in line with UK Government targets.

Current Operations

AgileAcoustics operates from its manufacturing and office facilities in Saltaire, West Yorkshire. Our activities include:

• Design and engineering of acoustic products

• UK-based manufacturing and assembly

• Installation and maintenance services

• Procurement of timber, fabrics, acoustic materials and components

• Distribution and installation throughout the UK

Carbon Reduction Measures Already Implemented

AgileAcoustics has already taken several steps to minimise its environmental impact, including:

• Manufacturing products within the UK to reduce transportation emissions.

• Sourcing the majority of materials and components from suppliers located within approximately 75 miles of our manufacturing facility.

• Utilising FSC-certified timber and responsibly sourced plywood wherever possible.

• Incorporating recycled PET (rPET) acoustic materials within products.

• Using water-based finishes and low-VOC materials where practical.

• Recycling waste timber and sheet materials through supplier take-back schemes.

• Designing products for longevity, refurbishment and component replacement to extend service life.

• Reducing packaging waste and reusing packaging materials where suitable.

• Maximising digital communication and documentation to reduce paper consumption.

Planned Carbon Reduction Initiatives (2026–2030)

To further reduce emissions, AgileAcoustics intends to:

• Establish a formal carbon measurement baseline for Scope 1, Scope 2 and key Scope 3 emissions.

• Increase the use of recycled and low-carbon materials across the product range.

• Improve energy efficiency within manufacturing and office operations.

• Transition company vehicles to electric vehicles as part of a phased fleet replacement programme.

• Work with suppliers to improve environmental reporting and carbon transparency.

• Continue developing products that support refurbishment and circular economy principles.

• Reduce transportation impacts through efficient delivery scheduling and route planning.

Monitoring and Review

This Carbon Reduction Plan will be reviewed annually. Progress against objectives will be monitored and reported internally to ensure continual improvement and support our commitment to Net Zero.
