AgileAcoustics Commissioned for Clinical Pods in Leicester

This week, we’re proud to announce that AgileAcoustics has been commissioned to manufacture three bespoke AgilePOD#10 C units for a GP Practice in Leicester.
While our AgilePODs have already proven themselves in workplaces, universities, and public sector spaces across the UK, this project marks a new development: clinical and patient consultation pods. It’s a direction we’re genuinely excited about, and one we believe will help transform healthcare environments nationwide.
From concept to commission
The journey to this commission has involved a raft of design drafts, a site visit, and multiple Teams calls to refine the specification. Working closely with the practice manager ensured the final design met both their clinical needs and the stringent requirements around patient privacy.
Tailored for healthcare
The bespoke specification for the Leicester pods includes:
Wipe-clean fabrics suitable for clinical settings.
White noise integration to provide confidentiality during consultations.
Enhanced soundproof wall construction, offering even greater acoustic separation and reassurance for patients and staff alike.
These enhancements build on our proven AgilePOD platform, adapting it to meet the everyday demands of medical practice environments.
Looking ahead
We see this project as the first of many. With NHS estates under pressure and primary care practices often short on space, modular clinical pods offer a flexible, cost-effective solution. Whether for private consultations, multi-disciplinary team meetings, or sensitive patient discussions, we’re confident this approach will resonate with medical clients across the UK.
