We were approached by a Leeds-based government department who were looking for a way to provide staff with a quiet place to meet or work quietly, without the expense and upheaval of building additional office space.

The Brief

Our client was experiencing a problem which is common to many office workplaces: large rooms, intended for use by several members of staff, being used as private workspaces or for one-to-one meetings. Finding a more practical use of the space available was the obvious solution, but what would be the best way to avoid getting the builders in?

The Solution

An acoustic office pod provides the perfect solution to the problem of finding a dedicated quiet space for staff to work in or hold one-to-one meetings. We stepped in to help and created a bespoke version of our best-selling AgilePOD which was larger than usual.  This tailor-made pod has all the features of the AgilePOD range; including highly-effective soundproofing, power sockets and lighting, but with a little more space. In addition, as requested by the client, we also added a pre-wired alarm system to the pod.

This specially designed office privacy pod is a result of three months work and not only are we extremely proud of the result, we’re also confident it will provide this government department with exactly what they’ve been looking for.
