Crossing Borders for Better Acoustics: AgileAcoustics Completes International Install in Guernsey

When it comes to delivering high-quality acoustic furniture, AgileAcoustics will go the extra mile—or in this case, across the sea.

We recently completed a bespoke international installation for a leading financial client in Guernsey, bringing acoustic comfort and workspace flexibility to their office environment. This project combined a range of our modular acoustic solutions; all tailored to the client's space and workflow needs.

A Tailored Acoustic Package

The brief called for a variety of acoustic products to support both individual focus work and small group collaboration. We delivered:

  • Hex-shaped AgileHUDDLEs – Compact and creative, these booths are perfect for quick catch-ups or team meetings without disrupting the wider office.

  • Four AgileTOUCHDOWN booths – Ideal for focused work or hybrid meetings, these booths support neurodiverse needs and offer a peaceful zone within an open-plan layout.

  • Three hilo.work screens – Our innovative height-adjustable acoustic screens, giving users instant control over privacy and space division at the touch of a button.

  • Custom Acoustic Hanging Screens – Designed to reduce reverberation and visually segment the space, these screens bring both sound control and aesthetic cohesion.

Every piece was designed and manufactured at our HQ in Salts Mill, Saltaire and built to exacting standards of acoustic performance and sustainability.

The Journey: 7 Hours by Ferry, All in a Day’s Work

This was no ordinary delivery. To ensure full quality control and installation precision, we sent our own experienced install team along with our dedicated AgileAcoustics vans. After a 7-hour ferry crossing from the UK mainland, the team arrived in Guernsey ready to get to work.

Despite the logistical complexity, the install was completed seamlessly over the course of one day—without the need for subcontractors. We believe in handling every part of the process ourselves, from design to delivery, to guarantee a consistent, high-quality result.
