Scaling New Heights: AgileAcoustics Install Innovative Ceiling Panels at Bettys & Taylors of Harrogate

Our latest project saw us visit the headquarters of renowned Yorkshire businesses, Bettys & Taylors of Harrogate – to install suspended upholstered acoustic ceiling panels.

AgileCLOUD now features in the staff dining areas; read on to discover more about the brief – and, more importantly, the results.

The Brief

Regular breaks increase productivity and improve wellbeing but making the most of downtime can be difficult in a noisy environment.

The team at the headquarters of both brands was aware of this stumbling block and asked us to provide a stylish solution to improve the acoustics of their staff dining room.

Enter our AgileCLOUD – suspended upholstered ceiling panels, which not only provide excellent acoustics but, thanks to their unique design, will brighten up any space too.

Canteens and dining rooms are notoriously loud, filled with the sound of clattering crockery and cutlery. Add to the mix the comings and goings of hungry colleagues and you have an environment which isn’t always conducive to conversation or quiet time.

The Solution

We knew our AgileCLOUD acoustic panels would provide the perfect solution for the brands’ headquarters, providing a stylish way to improve the canteen’s acoustics and create a quieter space that allows staff to unwind during breaktime.

With its fun, cloud-shaped design, AgileCLOUD is ideal for bringing a fresh look to large rooms and otherwise noise-filled spaces – such as canteens, classrooms, waiting rooms and public areas. Boasting impressive sound-absorbing properties, including sound reverberation and echo reduction, the innovation offers an effective way to reduce excess noise.

Crafted by our expert upholsterers in our Salts Mill workshop, AgileCLOUD features finely stitched detailing. The innovation is available in a wide range of bespoke shades, shapes, and sizes, too, allowing us to improve the ambience in almost any space.

“We are delighted with the results of this project,” says AgileAcoustics’ Stuart Jones. “Not only do the acoustic products we’ve installed enhance the look and feel of the space, but they’ve also really improved its overall environment, creating an area where staff can relax and unwind whilst enjoying a break or meal.”
